How do I make myself and administrator on Windows XP?

It is impossible to change your status from standard to administrator on the school computer(believe me, I've tried). but, if it cheers you up, you can open google chrome--i prefer that over the standard interneet explorer. I don't know if your school's computers are the same as my school's, but on the desktop, go under the folder that says ____(school name) students, and then click the folder that ends in "stu" for student, and then click web tools, and then google chrome (or firefox), and click the link that's something like googlechrome.exe.
