What does "pup.funwebproducts" ACTUALLY do?

I want the fancy screen savers that they constantly taunt me with, but after scanning with malwarebytes and being alerted to this malware, what does it actually do? I know its malware, and I know that pup stands for Potentially unwanted Program, but nowhere is helpful enough to tell WHAT it DOES, (I can recite about 4 different removal processes so far...)
